Windborne . . .

Once the Sage was turned away from warmth of hearth and home, deeply disheartened, left out in the cold. Sleeping beneath a starry sky, the softly falling cherry blossoms ~ windborne by the breeze.

Through his travels and travails he had gained experience, knowledge, wisdom and compassion. In spite of all his trials and tribulations he kept his good nature, sense of humor and understood the irony in his life.

The Sage of Asilomar

Once the Sage was turned away
from warmth of hearth and home,
deeply disheartened, left out in the cold.
Sleeping beneath a starry sky,
the softly falling cherry blossoms
. . . windborne by the breeze.
